End of my First Flickr Pro year

It was a year ago, that I bought my Flickr Pro membership…

Last year at this time, I had about 50 images, and maybe 2,000 recorded views.

So… What has happened?

and “meeting” a great group of people along the way!

The Folks I have connected with on Flickr and Facebook, have been Great!

And because of the “Chester County (PA) Photography” group on Facebook, we had a Meet-Up at Hibernia Park in Coatesville in April, and have continued to share when ever possible!

I can only hope that the next year brings as much fun and excitement!

Thank you all!

Truly amazing to think, a small school in the middle of the corn fields of Middletown DE is the 2nd best crew in the WORLD! Something the each and every member of that boat should be VERY PROUD of, and it will be something that you will carry with you the rest of your life!

Out of the 6-7 billion people on the face of the planet, you gentleman are among the Top 20 rowers in the WORLD! – Congratulations!

CANCELED – Devon Horse Show Photography

Just got off the phone with the Head of the Photography, Peter Doubleday, and he informed me the Devon Horse Show is really cracking down on non-official photographers selling images taken during the events.

This 2-3 year old policy is in an effort to preserve the copyright value of the Devon Horse Show event.

If you take pictures, and sell them, the DHS lawyers might be giving you a call, even if you are hired by one of the Stables that are participating.

Apparently, more and more Horse show are following this trend to protect their copyrights.

Thoughts?

This is a great honor and I hope that you will enjoy the picture as much as I do.
